João is a 25-year-old Brazilian born dressage rider, with a successful career in sports.

Being son of a former Olympic medal basketball player, João is set with a competitive mind and sports attitude.

He represented Brazil in de Rio 2016 Olympic Games, being the best team rider representing his home country.

João is currently fighting for a spot in Tokyo 2020 having already earned his first Minimum Eligibility Requirement score.

Most important accomplishments:

Gold medal as a team and individual at the South American Games in Santiago, Chile. 

Team Bronze Medal in the Pan American Games of Toronto, Canada and Lima, Peru. 

Participation in the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. 

Participation in two World Equestrian Games: Normandy France and Tryon USA. 

Champion in international CDIs 3* in the category Big tour and Small tour as Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Abrantes, Barcelona.

World Cup Finals in Omaha, USA.
